Church of Savièse
The objective of this lighting project for the church in Savièse, Switzerland, was to highlight the special architecture of this monument and its location, in order to exalt its historical, social and artistic value.
The church has many visitors as it houses several works of art by Ernest Bieler, renowned artist from "School of Savièse" movement.
For this reason, the lighting strategy needed to emphasize both the historic and architectural aspects of the building as well as a museum lighting element to reveal these important works of art.
Respect for the heightened mystique of the church, and its multifunctionality, was achieved by the installation of a specially designed lighting control system to allow the client to select the appropriate lighting scene for each specific situation.
